RIG Becomes Founder Member of Radio Industry Diversity Group

RIG is extremely proud to be one of the founding members of the newly formed Radio Industry Diversity Group. RIDG was formed in late 2006 and is the first ever diversity group formed by any UK industry! Other founding members include:
BBC, BECTU, Channel 4 Radio, Chrysalis Radio, Colourful Radio, GCap, Radio Academy and Skillset
The group's aim is to increase the opportunities for employment across the entire sector (on and off air) for those from ethnic or disabled backgrounds.
The newly elected Chair is Denis Nowlan (Network Manager, Radio 4) and the Secretary is Janet Turner (BECTU).
